Anthology movie by, and starring, Michael Jackson in his prime, combining a number of music videos from his bestselling "Bad" album with a fantasy tale of Michael's confrontation with a ruthless drug dealer known as Mr. Big (Joe Pesci).
Woefully bad Michael Jackson vehicle that pits the chameleon singer against a sadistic drug lord and a whole bunch of storm troopers. The musical numbers do something to rescue the production from oblivion, only because Jackson can sing and dance. Frightening to see Joe Pesci playing the evil nemesis of Jackson. He sure went up from there.<br/><br/>The movie opens with a brief Jackson anthology, and the entire film would have been streets better done like that from beginning to end. Ah! This movie is so ridicilous. Even more silly than the super-silly &#39;&#39;Firestarter&#39;&#39;. The movie has no base and you never get what the story is about. Michael Jackson running around with some kids in flowers suddenly pops up and you don&#39;t get s**t! If that was dumb you should see Jackson&#39;s acting! I think I&#39;m gonna burst! When Jacko hugs the kids and like a robot expressing &#39;&#39;I&#39;ve missed you so much&#39;&#39; the big laugh is not far away. But there are more coming! WHAT THE HELL IS JOE PESCI DOING HERE?! Pesci is playing some spider-freak that wants to take over the world and takes a kid hostage for some strange reason. Here&#39;s a spoiler, at the end Michael Jackson turns into a giant robot. Maybe so the audience can sit down and say &#39;&#39;Oh! That explanes it all&#39;&#39;. If you have it on DVD (sorry for you) watch everything with Joe Pesci. It is so hilarious that I have to cry!<br/><br/>HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Moonwalker, what a joke!

Quite astonishingly the newly released European Blu-ray versions - at least the German and British ones - are censored. Two scenes involving Mr. Big and Katie got trimmed. In the first one Mr. Big hits her and in the second one the heroin injection is missing as well. It is unknown whether all Warner Blu-rays feature this cuts.<br/><br/>However, the 1990 Guild Home Video VHS version (UK rated PG) may have these edits included in an earlier edit. The infamous baseball bats with the car outside the Club is not included on this VHS version.
